Our history is interesting. We are a member of the O’Meara Group of companies that started in the late 1950s. In 1964 we pioneered camping holidays in Ireland when we opened O’Meara Camping. That grew into one of the most famous firms in the holiday leisure world and was even written about in the literary supplement of the New York Times.
Over the years, we opened Ireland’s first Business Incubator Centre to grow small new businesses. We developed Ossory Business Park, The Storage Centre and The Richmond Business Campus. We have worked with many leading organisations including Arnotts, Body shop, O’Meara Camping, Barclay’s bank, Morgan Grenfell, Leonidas Chocolates, O’Donnell Sweeny solicitors, the Blood Bank, Motorola, Aldi, Morgan Grenfell, the engineering firms for the Port Tunnel and the Luas, Anderson Consultants, ICC bank, The OPW, Barclays Bank, Lifetime Bank of Ireland, Dublin Corporation, and many more.
In 1989 we opened ‘The Storage Centre’ within Ossory Business park from there we learnt and developed the business. In 2005 we opened Elephant Storage as a stand alone self storage centre and have developed the site over the years.
