Meet Ashoka. Our Elephant of the month here at Elephant Self Storage.
Ashoka named after one of India’s greatest emperors found his name after a social media campaign by The National Confectionary company, sponsor of the Kaziranga Forest Trail, invited the public to help them name the new bull calves (Ashoka & Kavi), inspired by their Indian origin.
Ashoka’s arrival came just after big Brother Kavi and before his little Sister Samiya, all three arrived within weeks of each other in the summer of 2014 and brought in a record number of visitors! Ashoka has always been very friendly but is well known to stay close by to his mother Anak.
